Raku NYC, operated by Cloud Nine Hospitality Group, respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and the terms for text messages we send about your reservation.

Information We Collect

When you call, book, or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, party size, reservation date and time, and any notes you choose to share. Calls to our reservation line may be answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded and transcribed to handle your request.

How We Use It

We use this information only to manage your reservation or event inquiry, to contact you about it, and to improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Text Messages (SMS)

• What we send: transactional messages about a reservation you requested, such as a secure payment link to hold your table and reservation confirmations. We do not send marketing messages by text.
• How you opt in: when you call to book, we ask for your mobile number and tell you we will text it a payment link or confirmation. Providing your number and agreeing on the call is your consent. Consent is not required to dine with us.
• Frequency: message frequency varies, usually one to three messages per reservation.
• Costs: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email info@rakunyc.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that help us run reservations and payments (for example, our reservation system and payment processor), and only as needed to provide that service, or when required by law.
